Who we are

Letavo is a UK-based product built to help landlords stay compliant with housing regulations. The data controller is Letavo, contactable at hello@letavo.co.uk.

What data we collect

When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address. That's it. We don't collect your name, address, payment details, or any other personal information at this stage.

Why we collect it

We use your email address for one purpose: to let you know when Letavo is ready to use. We may also send occasional updates about the product before launch. Our lawful basis for processing this data is your consent, which you give by submitting the waitlist form.

How we store it

Your email address is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and access controls. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with any third parties. Your data stays with us.

Cookies

This website uses a small number of cookies, all of which are essential for security. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Essential cookies (always active):

• __cf_bm — Set by Cloudflare for bot management. Used to distinguish legitimate visitors from bots. Expires after 30 minutes.
• cf_clearance — Set by Cloudflare after a visitor completes a security challenge. Used to verify legitimate traffic. Expires after up to 30 minutes.

Analytics (optional, off by default):

If you choose to enable analytics via our cookie banner, we load Cloudflare Web Analytics. This is a privacy-first analytics tool that does not set any cookies. It uses a lightweight JavaScript beacon to collect anonymous, aggregated page view data. No personal information is collected or stored. You can enable or disable this at any time via the Cookie Settings link in our footer.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of any inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw your consent at any time

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@letavo.co.uk and we'll respond within 30 days.

Data retention

We keep your email address until you ask us to remove it, or until it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected. If Letavo does not launch, we will delete all waitlist data.

Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top and, where possible, notify you by email.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
